Choose from our seven luxurious individually decorated en-suite double bedrooms, all located in the thatched homestead, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and shady trees.

Suite number one:

Divine surroundings to begin your married life in! Charm and romance blend with unpretentious elegance to assure you of complete comfort, tranquility and privacy. A reminder of bygone days is found in its gentle décor. From the crisp, brilliant white, percale linen, to the softly draped netting, billowing cloudlike, above the huge king sized bed. This beautiful room flows through cottage paned french doors onto the large veranda that overlooks the sparkling pool and lushly tropical gardens. On colder evenings languish on comfortable wing backed chairs and enjoy the warmth and the flickering firelight. Bathe in candlelight in the magnificent, well appointed bathroom, and then snuggle up in fluffy white gowns supplied for your comfort and convenience. Television, hairdryer, coffee /tea station and safety deposit box are supplied for your use. This suite is also fitted with under floor heating and air-conditioning.

Suite number two:

Our lavender room depicting the beauty of spring is also situated upstairs with its own private balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Sit outside and enjoy a cocktail while watching the many different species of birds that visit our lush garden. This suite has a king size bed dressed with luxurious linen, a television set and tea and coffee station. An inter-leading room with a double bed adjoins this room creating a perfect family suite. Air-conditioning and under floor heating have been installed for your comfort and the adjoining room has a fitted ceiling fan. The bathroom has a double vanity, bidet, shower and hairdryer. A safety deposit box has been fitted into your room for your exclusive use and convenience.

Suite number three:

The periwinkle room exudes an air of serenity, off set by elegant white drapery and linen. This suite has its own television set, coffee station, air conditioning and a private modern bathroom. The bathroom has both a shower and oval bath decorated with a Persian flair – a hair dryer is supplied for your use. This suite does not have its own patio but a private patio has been sectioned off from the main patio which overlooks the pool, it is here where you can enjoy your sundowners. The swallows have made their nest on the patio area of this suite again this year and it won’t be long before the new offspring arrive.

Suite number four:

Elegance itself; is the best way to describe this suite with French doors that open up to a private patio, overlooking the lush treed garden. Sitting on the patio in the evenings, the sounds of the little tree frogs and the night jars whisper through the trees. Decorated in cream and rich rusty tones, this suite exudes a feeling of royal elegance. The modern en-suite bathroom has an oval bath and a shower as well as twin basins set into a vanity – a hair dryer has been supplied for your use. An overhead fan circulates the air creating a cooling effect under the thatch complimenting the air conditioner, heater unit and under floor heating. A fireplace has been installed which creates a warm atmosphere in winter. Television, hairdryer, coffee / tea station as well as a safety deposit box has been fitted into your room for your exclusive use and convenience.

Suite number five:

Our exotic Lotus Blossom suite will delight those seeking peace and tranquility. Enjoy this gorgeous suite with its stunning eastern theme, evocative of serene eastern nights, fragrant with frangipani and lotus blossoms. Relax on the patio and enjoy the ambience and calm coolness of the pretty garden. Savor the warmth of the under floor heating on icy winter evenings sipping gluwien while contemplating a perfumed bath illuminated with flickering candles in our beautifully appointed bathroom. As with all our magnificent suites, the Lotus Blossom suite has under floor heating, air conditioning/heater, coffee / tea station, television and hairdryer.

Suite number six and seven:

Continuing the theme of romance and quiet elegance, the Victoria and Albert suites, separated from the main house by the front courtyard, evokes a Victorian Era long gone. Built above the original stables these beautiful accommodations seem steeped in history. The tiny cottage pane windows, hung with chintzy drapery, peep furtively over the court yard. Lamp and candlelight create a romantic ambience and the antique ball and claw hip bath holds court in a suite resonant with olde worlde charm. Every modern amenity is provided for your comfort and enjoyment including hairdryers, tea/coffee station, and toiletries. TV set, and under floor heating.

Directly across the pretty entrance hall is the Albert suite. Like its sister suite, this gorgeous room exudes old fashioned romance and charm. Beautiful cabinets, designed to maintain the aura of antiquity, conceal the modern amenities provided for your comfort and convenience. The TV set snuggles unobtrusively in a corner cabinet atop which sits a crystal decanter with delicate glasses inviting you to enjoy a warming sherry. Enjoy a cup of tea from the fine selection of teas on the butler’s tray nestling in the corner or order an exotic cocktail from the bar whilst you curl up on the elegant and comfortable wing backed chairs to enjoy a good book or amiable conversation.

Monchique Conference Centre:

Let us host your conference, brain storming and team building sessions. Our lovely conference centre seats 30 delegates and we specialize in the smaller conferences so no conference is too small. We offer all normal conference requirements in comfort and luxury. French doors open onto a stunning patio where comfortable settees invite relaxation between sessions. Our small but elegant breakaway room can accommodate up to 10 delegates and opens onto the Hedgehog Grove – a private garden, shady and relaxing, ensuring complete privacy.

A coffee and tea station is located in our welcoming bar and is served all day. Our cuisine is of the highest standard and is served on the patio by well trained, enthusiastic and friendly staff who deliver excellent service with a very personal touch.

In the evenings languish in the bar in front of the crackling fireplace and enjoy refreshments from a wide range of alcoholic beverages or sip wines from our comprehensive wine cellar.
